It's no secret that I have been into computer games since I set eyes on a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model I computer way back in 1978. Having grown up playing pinball and early video games in the arcade, as well as enjoying the earliest console video game systems, the thought of being able to play games on my own home computer was geeky nirvana!
Thirty-four years later, I still enjoyed playing computer games. My home PC rocks and I look at life through a 30" monitor. I've slowly been working on a series called 25 Games That Rocked My World.
So would you be surprised to discover that my son, Zach, has also turned out to have a passion for gaming?
I didn't think so. As they say, the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
Zach is a much more avid gamer than I ever was. And he takes is far more seriously than I ever did. Not only that, but he has some very profound thoughts and deep insights into the video and computer gaming realm. He never ceases to amaze me as he shares his perspective on the industry.
That's why I am excited that Zach is sharing his unique perspective with the rest of the world on his website, GameCheetah.com.
Zach writes in a number of categories, including first looks at games, reviews, editorial and outright opinion. He isn't afraid to say what he thinks. And his passion for gaming is real. This is a young man who has something to say! I especially like a recent article where he discussed ways that game companies are rewarding gamers for playing.
If you are into gaming, why not hop over to Zach's site and see if his work resonates with you. It got the attention of Dave Taylor, who now features a weekly review from Zach on his popular tech blog, AskDaveTaylor.com
